Why is it called the JOHANN?
There are two reasons for this. Firstly, the previous owner of the house was Johann Köberl, and since it was important for us to honor both him and his legacy even after his passing, we decided to name the house after them. Additionally, the name Johann holds a special significance in the Ausseerland, as Archduke Johann once lived here and revolutionized industry, agriculture, railways, as well as culture and education. 

Do we need to pay a deposit?
No 
What are the check-in and check-out times at the JOHANN?
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM. However, if you arrive earlier in the Ausseerland, you are welcome to store your luggage with us. We kindly ask that you inform us of this in advance via phone or email. Check-out is until 10:00 AM on the day of departure, and we will personally check the apartment. 
For a booking of only 2 guests, only 1 bedroom will be available.

Does the JOHANN have its own parking space?
Yes. Right in front of our holiday home, there are two separate parking spaces available, one for each apartment. 

Is smoking allowed at the JOHANN?
No. We have a strict no-smoking policy in all indoor areas, but there is an option for smokers to step outside. 

Are pets allowed at the JOHANN?
We have decided not to permit pets in our apartments, as some of our guests may have allergies that could be triggered by pet hair. We wish to eliminate any potential risks. 

Is there a place to store and charge our bikes/e-bikes?
You can store your bikes in the designated cellar area we provide. We also offer the option to charge them for free. 

Does the JOHANN have a ski storage room?
Yes. You will find a dedicated room in the cellar where you can conveniently store your ski equipment. This room is equipped with a ski boot dryer that dries and disinfects your boots, so you are ready for your next ski day.

Cancellation policy:

For cancellations made up to 72 hours before arrival, no cancellation fees will be charged.

For cancellations made up to 48 hours before arrival, 25% of the total cost will apply.

For cancellations made up to 24 hours before arrival, 50% of the total cost will apply.

For cancellations made on the day of arrival, 100% of the total price will be charged.
